Splashes of Creativity from a Fantasy World

Earnest Page Thirteen December 20, 2010

Wow, it only took thirteen pages to get this all posted. Only a dozen or so people know this, but in Dianchi the number thirteen is highly symbolic, so I’m enjoying the coincidence.

The majority of people reading this (hopefully) have not been following along as I post because this is the first thing I’ve ever posted. I’ve always thought it a bit awkward to read these sorts of author’s notes after the fact, but still, I hope you have enjoyed my little story.

Oh, and yeah, I basically came up with this entire concept because of these strips. But I couldn’t stretch the Victorian Era costumes for an entire play, so I developed a modern Importance of Being Earnest. It was fun and now I’m thinking of making this blog about plays in comic form. Tell me what plays would interest you.

Remember, feedback is cheaper than a puppy but I will accept either.

Do you know what’s even better than a puppy for Christmas? A bunch of reviews for Christmas! And it won’t even cost you a cent!

This. Do you have any idea how much food this thing eats? While a review costs nothing. But I'll take either.

Well finals are finally over. I don’t know about any of you, but I came to the conclusion this finals season that God invented OChem to make more me pray to him. But the important thing is that it’s done and we can kick back and enjoy the holidays…by reading the third and final act of Questionable Content Presents The Importance of Being Earnest!

Feedback is awesome!

Jon, finally you have your XKCD moment. It’s really more of a cameo, taken from the Swine flu strip. At this point in my project, I had like three more days, eye strain, and the rest of Act III to get through. So this is technically a cop out, but my teacher said she enjoyed the change of scenery. I hope you do as well.

Note: I just remember that the author of Questionable Content maintains fictional twitter feeds for his characters. Totally a coincidence but a pretty cool one.

Remember that feedback equals magic.

Yay! So now we enter what might be my most favorite part of this entire project. Dora and Penelope are two of my favorite characters on Questionable Content and everyone should go click on the link and head over there THIS MINUTE. Forget my crappy fan project and go enjoy some beautiful conversations about being a quirky twenty-nothing in New England.

Here’s all the links and remember that I adore comments in all shapes or colors:
